How do I enable notifications?

When you first open the app, it will automatically request notification permissions. Simply tap "Allow" when prompted. You can toggle notifications on/off anytime from the app's main screen.

Notifications are not working. What should I do?

Please check the following:

• Ensure notifications are enabled in the app
• Check your device's Settings > Notifications > My Masjid App and ensure notifications are allowed
• Make sure your device is connected to the internet
• Try closing and reopening the app

How often do prayer times update?

Prayer times update automatically in real-time via WebSocket connection. The app also performs a background refresh every day at 12:30 AM to ensure you always have the latest schedule.

Does the app work offline?

Yes! The app caches prayer times locally, so you can view the schedule even without an internet connection. However, you need an internet connection to receive the latest updates.

When do I receive prayer notifications?

You will receive a notification 10 minutes before each of the 5 daily prayers (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha).
